It is a wonderful site. It refreshed my spiritual urge. Sant Tukaram is a model
for my spiritual journey. He is a very great personality, which cannot be
expressed in words.

I was introduced to Tukaram by the RSSB book "Tukaram, Saint of Maharashtra" by
Chandravati Rajwade. Then I saw the 1937 film about Tukaram, and fell in love
with it. I read the poetry of Tukaram often and the love and devotion in his
poetry are very inspiring. Thank you!

I am pleased to say that such a wonderful site is
hosted. I was inspired by Sant Tukaram through his abhang taught in school. It
gave a whole message of life in that single Abhang. Keep up the good work.

Sometimes it is difficult to spend some time in the company of the saints because of family life and the job, but when there is a real longing, grace comes in unaspected ways. Your site is wonderful and deserves many more visits....

Excellent work. It also informs of the cultural fusion of Sindhis into
Maharashtra. The Marathi poet literature composed by Sant Tukaram is absolutely
simple and easy to understand. With extremely deeper mystical poems (abhanga
as it is locally called) which are very simple and beautiful. Sindhis stand to gain
from it. It is the work of the saints and later Shivaji Maharaj which laid to the
foundation of modern day Maharashtra. This site was much needed for
Sindhi people to know the literature of JAGADGURU...SANT SHIROMANI...as
Tukaram is often referred to.

Nama japa brings great joy to me and eases the heavy weight of materialism that we are facing these days. Tukaram is a wonderful inspiration to keep chanting God's name and to remember God in our everyday life. Thank you for putting up this website. God bless you all.

I want to say as a Hindu devotee, I love all of the Indian poetry that I have heard. My friend, Olivia Harrison and her husband, who's also been a friend of mine for a long time, George, are great fans of Tukaram and Tagore. How fortunate it is to have a website dedicated to the greatest Indian literatures put in writing. Like how nothing is still outshining Lord Krisna's fame, nothing is outshining our poets' and our own-no way to be fit.

My father told me about this website when I called him.
I logged on and was pleasantly surprised. I am almost
speechless. More importantly, the idea is amazing. I am
reminded of my chidhood marathi text book and all the
things I learnt from my parents about Sant Tukaram and
our rich culture of "sant-vangmay". I am glad
the next generations have a chance to see and read what
our culture is like. For me,this is the best use of internet
ever. I can go on and on praising this effort. But in
word, let me just say: THANK YOU SO MUCH, DHANYAWAD!

I was born in New York, and raised up in Jacksonville.
my mother, Vidya brought me to India to learn my culture.
Now, at the age of 15, words cannot show how much I have
learnt...and how much I would like to thank my mother. If it wasnt for her, I would not be browsing this site, but perhaps I would be browsing a site about Britney Spears
or punk rock... all this came only due to Tukaram maharaj's
abhangs. I have fallen in love with Pandharpur and Lord
Vittal...it sure is surprising how one can get attatched
to God in such a short span of time. We are so blessed
to have such a rich culture and great saints like Tukaram
maharaj. When the West is slowly starting to follow us,
why do we have to gape at them? especially when we have
such an easy way to attain our God?

I am glad I found this site. I have only one text about
Sant Tukaram. The info here fills in the gaps. I have
visited India twice but I haven't been to Dehu or Pune.
Tukaram's name came to me in a dream. It took many years
to figure out the language and research who "Tukaram"
is! (I only know English fluently). He is still with us
all.
