Publications and Awards:
Wrote The Geeta: A Theory of Human Action as a doctoral
dissertation Studied Krishna: The Man and his Mission
for Post-doctoral project as a Career Awardee of University
Grants Commission during 1986-1989 with a good background
in Philosophy and methodology of sciences in general and
that of social sciences in particular. Undertook a considerably
exhaustive research in cultural history of Maharashtra.
Presented an almost new interdisciplinary paradigm of
writing cultural history in the work Tukaram Darshan.

This paradigm consists
of identifying the cultural person of the given culture
and writing its history by reconstructing various responses
given to that person by various prominent individuals, groups,
movements and fields. In that society from time to time. |
All above-mentioned
projects have been published. Tukaram Darshan received a
number of awards including Sahitya Akademi Award. |

Presently working
on the project study of leadership transition from Tilak
to Gandhi. The results are being published in form of series
of articles in Marathi in the weekly 'Saptahik Sakal'. |

In addition 50
research papers and articles have been published in various
journals. |

Also having a keen
interest in social and political changes brought about by
religion in general and Buddhism in particular and writing
accordingly. |
